THE BECOME A NINE REELS CLIP COMPETITION

The Become A Nine Reels Clip contest, will offer two invitations— one for men and one for women. In the Become a Nine Reels Clip competition, judges will be handing out two coveted invites to join the Swatch Nines! This wild card entry is the only way to get into The Swatch Nines at Green Hill Bikepark in Schmallenberg North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, without a direct invite to join for a week filled with progression sessions alongside the world’s top riders. The Reels will be posted directly on the Swatch Nines channel and you will be invited to colab on the post!

WHO CAN ENTER?

The online qualification is open to everyone who has the capability and skills to ride a setup like The Nines, pros and amateurs from all over the world. Only the top entries will be published on our socials, so make sure it's a banger!

WHAT KIND OF TRICKS SHOULD BE SHOWN?

As the Nines is a Slopestyle and Freeride event, we want to see an accumulation of your best tricks, technical diversity, riding skills and a lot of style in your Become A Nine submission and hopefully, we'll see you at the Green Hill Bikepark!

WHAT SHOULD THE INSTAGRAM REEL LOOK LIKE?

1. Create an Instagram Reel of max 59 seconds in 9 by 16. (1080x1920)
2. Pick a song on Spotify and edit the submission to the music.
3. The video should be in Instagram Reels format and not longer than 59 seconds, and remember it's all about the action!
4. The editing is not the important part, it's all about the riding. So DIY style, phone clips, GoPro, or any other camera will do the job. You can edit the Instagram Reel yourself or let your friends do the computer work.
   

HOW TO SUBMIT THE INSTAGRAM REEL?

1. Go to wetransfer.com and add your video.
2. Enter your email and send it to: thor@distillery.cc
3. Type your message: Your contact information (full name, email, telephone, age and Instagram Handle).
4. Deadline: 23rd of July.
5. We will post the Reel to our Instagram account and invite you to colab on the post, and communicate with you when we will release your submission so you can accept, and activate your own audience. Remember accepting the Colab Post is mandatory to validate your submission.

HOW THE JUDGING WORKS:

1. The Swatch Nines crew will preselect, then a selection of invited riders will end up deciding who will come through and join us!
2. Once Riders Voting has been finalized, we will create a YouTube video to announce the winners, and we will send you the official invite which you can share on your Socials! ?
